This is an updated version of his previous work on the same subject. The book covers from the early Maori tribal wars up to the NZ Peacekeeping activities in East Timor.
The book is heavily accented towards land warfare, with the Naval and Air contributions to various wars being given a minor coverage. The bulk of the book naturally covers the New Zealand efforts in WWI and WWII.
A good reference work for those studying the many decades that New Zealanders have been involved in conflicts, both at home and abroad.
